I couldn't justify paying race fuel prices for E85. It's supposed to be the cheaper, cleaner alternative to race fuel. Anyone charging 9 times pump prices claiming 5% power increase is out of their mind.

I'll stick to my $1.50/gal E85 tyvm.

C85 has MBTE which will swell older ID2000'. I know from personal experience, you have to be sure your components can handle C85. X85 is a good option for guranteed E85, or X98.

Conversely, FUSE offers C85 performance at X85 prices

I don’t understand the thought with adding 1 hard to light fuel to another or how c85 can make more power than e85.

Yea yea thread from the dead but I was just cutting some e85 from my e98 and keep pondering this lol. Part of me wants to think since I not octane limited that mixing pump 87 or 89 will ignite easier than mixing race gas with e98.
