Thanks mrfred. I'm currently completely stock everything apart from FIC 1150 injectors, modified Wally 255 and a 3" DP with 3-port EBC. So basically I'll keep the MIVEC map as it is once the new exhaust is in, thanks.

A bit off topic, but since it will flow more, what is the maps that I need to restrict first or all of them? To a novice like me it would sound rather reasonable to only put in a more conservative waste gate duty cycle and keep everything else as is. Thoughts?

Always start with lower boost when making hardware mods. You'll need to tweak BWGDC, and depending on how you control boost, you could have to turn down the Target Boost tables as well.

Thank you. I made four different BWGDC maps from material that I had got when I tuned my car with tscomp. I can test these out after I get the exhaust installed and keep an eye on the boost gauge as well as knock and AFR.

This is an EDM edition and therefore the car doesn't have a MAP sensor from the factory nor have I had luck in installing one.

getting more or less mivec advance is more of a hardware thing. english racing modifies the physical limiter to allow more advance. i think its about $100 if you send the assembly to them.

Getting a P0011 code on my 06 EVO IX and thought I would post the MIVEC tables from my tuner here to see if anyone thinks they're off. My builder has gone through timing twice and is about to do it again, tested many mechanical and electrical aspects of the system and even installed a brand new MIVEC gear.

My tuner assures me that the tune is on point and the issue must be mechanical.

Full list of mods if it helps:

GSC S2 Billet 7009s2 cams
GSC Beehive Springs and Retainers part # 5040
FID 1200cc injectors
TOMEI bell mouth 02 housing
TOMEI downpipe
TOMEI titanium test pipe
GReddy full titanium catback
Injen upper & lower inter cooler piping
Injen intake
Grimmspeed electronic boost controller
All gates racing blue belts
ITM revised lifters
Walbro 255 fuel pump

Are you able to log mivec? If so what are the results of the tune?

You can also test the OCV to make sure it's functioning.

Search for the information for both, it's all on here.

What's your exhaust setup? You might have too much in the midrange - high end

I haven't tried to log MIVEC, I'm going to try and figure that out with Evoscan this weekend if I have time.

Tested the OCV and it's functioning properly, even swapped it with a for sure known good one off a IX with the similar set up and still got the code on my car.

p0011 is for mivec slow to respond , check filter in the mivec oil feed fitting that the banjo screws into , bad idle will also throw that code

I would try zeroing out the cells with the 2.4 which are in the idle zone.

Hmmm.... I recently learned that when you have a dump pipe you need less advance after like 6000
