ECUFlash does not support logging. Mitsulogger and EvoScan are both great apps that can take care of it though.

sorry for the misunderstanding, but my question was, do u have to have the logs in order to get a flash. is it required? its kinda confusing. the site says,required for the updated images. that would mean that u need it if u r getting a flash 2nd time?

you do need logs to properly flash the ecu. how else would you know what you'll be tuning. I remember with my old dsm and dsmlink I would do a few pulls and log it and pull over review the file and adjust fuel trims and or pull off or add timing. it's a little time consuming, but the way most people would have to tune.

whoa overwhelming information, can someone quickly sparknote these steps preferably in a list on how to completely do this process????? ex: buy tatrix cable, dl ecuflash, get this do that... because the tutorial was not completed as I noticed you have to change user option to developer? and then logging information? plus
Datalogs (ie: pocketlogger, Zeitronix, Logworks, etc.) **Required for updated images**

^^^ i was confused on the same thing. emailed jestrtuning n this is what they said


"No, I will need datalogs after the initial flash. Then updated images will be provided after those logs are ananlyzed."


u need to take datalogs only if wanna get flashed a second time.

so sending logs with like mitsulogger ect.. is only requre for the m2 flash? or is it require after the m1 as progress purposes?

Logs aren't required for any flash. They just help the tuner adjust the initial flash to work correctly with your car. Some tuners request them up front since it will help them dial in the tune better from day one.

I just recieved my Jester Image.. I am going to upload it tonight..

what happens if i dont remove the Pill?

i dont have time to do it now

will my car run ok ? with or without the pill removed

You should be directing this to the Vendor/Tuner.. We can't answer this with certainty.

I have a list of resources for downloading and buying the ECUflash, tactrix cable, evoscan and mitsu logger etc.. and I also explain how the tuning process works - see sig
