Hey mines, this is standard windows behaviour. if you move or delete the original .MSI installer file, then the windows subsystem can not repair any files in your c:\program files(x86)\evoscan\ folder
if you can't remember where you last left the msi file, and can't put it back. then you should just uninstall evoscan, and reinstall it. this time leave the msi file in the same place so that the msi auto repair can find it next time the files have been modified in the program files folder.. Microsoft designed it this way so that nothing can go accidentally go wrong with the programs protected inside the program files installation folder.

has anyone tried to download evoscan recently? I bought a cable and have a serial number and everything... But their website is not functioning very well and am unable to find an active link to download the software. Any help is appreciated, I have been trying all morning.

thats because there are some old non-functional limitless.co.nz links floating around. just go to the evoscan.com website and download from their using your login. Also all yahoo email addresses are being blocked at the moment due to their crazy yahoo spam rejection rules. We are working on a workaround for both these issues at the moment and will be resolved one way or another.

What do I need to do to make evoscan to log PSI Boost Error?
Found out how add PSI Boost Error from Raptord.
Here is the xml entry for evoscan. The forum won't let me paste it with the opening and closing tags, so you'll need to add a "smaller than" sign at the beginning and " />" at the end.
DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Boost Error" LogReference="BoostError" RequestID="8A" Eval="0.0241*x-3.087" Unit="psi" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-5" GaugeMax="5" ChartMin="-5" ChartMax="5" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="false"

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but i'm trying to set up my mut table for logging in evoscan. The car is an 05 gsr, rom id is 96940011. According to the table on page 157 of this guide:http://www.evoscan.com/ecuflash/Merl...UIDE-V1.7a.pdf to set up 2 byte load for example i'm supposed to change mut 00 to 899a, well in my rom mut 00 is FFFF. From what I understand the cells in the mut table that have FFFF are to be left alone. So i'm wondering if I need to do something else to the rom or maybe the information in the pdf is incorrect?

Hi,
Just re installed evoscan 2.9 , having an issue with live tracer.
When hitting boost load doesnt go past 260 while viewing the values live. As soon as a stop live tracer and view the logs offline i see correct values in the tracer. I found that load 1 byte value wasnt set properly.
Please advise on this issue.

1. Download and install NotePad++.
2. Open the XML file in Notepad++ with the error from C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo\ <insert_your_xml_filename>.
3. Go to the line and character position in the file that was indicated in the error message.
4. Add the missing space before the address
5. Save the XML file
6. Restart Ecuflash
7. Reopen the ROM that uses the XML file you just fixed.
If that doesn't solve the problem then you have updated the wrong XML file.
