EcuFlash noob questions...

A friend of mine and I just logged my car for the first time over the weekend using Mitsulogger and we were seeing loads of about 200-210. My boost gauge reads 22psi peak and we were seeing 5 counts of knock. This is on the stock ROM, 93 octane gas, only mod is a catback. Question is, does the load seem a little low? My friend's Evo has loads in the 240 range. Thanks.

What load value are you using? Are the conditions the same (baro, temp, etc)? Do you have different model Evo?

As discussed in these two threads, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=261465 , https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=234060 , 2 byte load is the most accurate. I wouldn't compare your load to a friends unless you were both logging this value on the same model car under the same conditions.

by the way did u try getting different gas? ur 93 octane may not be 93... try a fresh 93 octane or maybe a gallon of racegas would help that knock count.

also at stock u shouldnt be at 22-23 psi peak, it should only spike to that but taper to 18-19 at top end. maybe the evo has a MBC and he doesnt know it if u bought it used.

I'm not sure if this is the type of problem your getting, but I had a thread about not being able to connect here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=261142
