Need help ASAP!!!!!!
A friend and I were writing a new map for the evo tonight. we went to test write it to the ECU but an error came up. We loaded the stock map back on and the evo started up fine. Then we went to write the new map again and another error occured. We tried loading the stock map again and the same error occured. tried a couple more times each time it got error says its not a reconzed code. uninstalled took it back to a diff. version tried once more could not get link to computer. thats where it ended. The Evo does not start and we have no idea what the problem can be. Is it possible that the ecu is done or is their anything I can to fix it? This is my DD so please help me out.

Did you try removing and reloading EcuFlash on your PC? I know I sound like a Dell support line, but it is the first thing I would try. Next try downloading the ROM that is in the ECU to see what it looks like. Maybe the Immobilzer code got messed up.

Here is the ROM code, but this immobilizer code is not going to work for you.

Need to register on MJ's site to get the file.

First of all, what kind of error code did you get?
I would try to "read from ECU" with a fresh ECUFlash reinstall (don't delete hex files). Hopefully your code will still be there and you can just fix your ROMS.
Don't trust that any friend is careful with your car even they may think they are.

I just re-installed EcuFlash and tried loading my stock map back on and yet the same error occured.
Also I tried look for the immobilizer in the misc section of ecuflash and it is not there? I remember seeing it on v1.28 but not on v1.30?
