Major thread revival! I have an Evo V with the SAS piping complete running an Evo VIII ECU. Are there any JDM Tephra V7 ROMs for the VIII ECU that allow the factory SAS system to function?

Unfortunately, we still missing the proper code to operate proper anti lag. With the current decoded SAS tables you get pops & bangs only, no positive boost!
Try rom id 9055

It's been a while and I'm joining late, but I just got done reading through the entire thread. I've got some SAS hardware en route from the UK, I was hoping someone had figured out how to implement the code and execute it, but it appears efforts where in vane. Silex, where you ever able to secure the SAS unit? Btw, I'm hoping to implement this in -15 ROM running Tephra V7. As many, I've only gotten to the point of pops and bangs. No overrun. If only there where some way of disabling overrun fuel cut....

I'd love to help in any way I can to move this project forward, but unfortunately I'm just a tuner, and have no knowledge of diss, so I'm pretty much just in here to check up on things and see if anyone got it working.

V7 Tephra has this set by default, I believe I'm able to achieve about -20 of ignition retard on my USDM -15 IX. But unfortunately, we have no way of just dumping fuel on deccel.

Sure you do. Use 8858 8884 or other jdm Rom with sas code. 8858 has a v7 Rom. I will say this again, the point of sas hardware is not to build boost in the intake manifold. It's to keep turbo speed up. Boost and airflow are two different things. The system is designed like a leak on purpose. The entire concept of this type is to improve drivability and reduce response time.

Tunermt says he made boost in the manifold with a home brewed pipeline and aem. I know, the only way you can get boost in the manifold is by letting it in. A normal iscv cannot do this as i have tested with a vipec using the iscv as the air bypass for als and it doesn't move enough air. --The leak from a sas system might be just enough to build some however the purpose of this again is drivable ( with brake booster ).

als load values

hello fellow als dreamers,
does one know whether the two load parameters in the als settings are with boost adder (boost offset) or without boost adder?

cheers
