Heres what the other 3 look like

Do you have a theory on which each set does? I assume I should play with the first 4 tables of Shift Map 1 first?

I don't have the torque converter solenoid defined by the way.

I just changed the values in shift map 1 -1 all to 30 expecting that the shift from 1st to 2nd would occur at 30km no matter what the TPS was. I found that it did change at 40km no matter what the TPS was. I have not made any other changes yet. The car was cold as well, as it was a quick drive up the road and back. I'm going out to do some logs, that will get the car up to temp, so will find out if temp plays any part in which shift map the car runs off.

Ok, with the car up to temp it still changed at 40kmph, so it appears the car always runs off the first set of shift maps. The 3rd set have very similar values to the 1st, so when are these used? Actually, when are the other 3 sets used?

My understanding is that 1-4 are the upshift maps for those gears and 5-8 are the corresponding downshift maps (5 is for 2-1, 6 is 3-2, etc.).

I think in your transmission some of it has to do with sport mode (std 4 speed auto here doesnt have that). I need to get an auto car to test. Our project does not currently run. Some of those downshift maps are triggered by just vehicle speed and the others use a combo of that and brake switch for activation I believe.

The 417eb is not torque converter I believe. I think its is PWM pressure (bleed rate) vs throttle based on what i know of aftermarket controllers.

Yea, that looks right from what I can see.

I'm happy to do any testing you want, just let me know what to change and what you expect the change to do. I'll do my best to test as soon as I can so you aren't waiting around for days for feedback.

If I had to guess I would say the shift map series 3 is the one that controls the transmission if my speed theory is correct. If its a duty cycle percentage I would have to stop and think about how that would work. In the PCS software the table organizes based on my assumption, TPS vs VSS.

Just realised I typed 2 and meant 3. The second set of values that had 43 in it.

Hello guys!
Good info for Airtrek and Evo GTA owners.
For 80700010 one of our friends are going to make some patches. We are currently deciding what of them will be made.
There is a discussion list:
- CEL on knock
- DMA - online map editing via EvoLiveMap
- SD (Speed Density, but more advanced than Tephra's)
- Boost/AFR correction using EGT sensor connected to the ECU
- WBO2 support for trims calculation
- Making Boost Load Error Correction work correctly with 3-port BCS (currently enabling this map results in boost-off pressure)
- Like Tephramod: Valet mode, Alt maps, Big maps, Drop boost on high knock
- A/T Launch - set defined AFR and Timing while brake pedal is pressed and throttle position is above threshold
- Additional maps for gears. For example, by now we have 1-2 and 3-4-5. But as for me 4th gear makes me to lower timings which can safely be used at 3rd. So maybe 1, 2, 3 and 4-5 maps will be way better.

Currently we have 2 simple patches:
1) Bypass/blow-off fix. Your car won't stall or drop RPM on throttle lift with any type of diverter valve. It's already tested and I'm using it with GFB Deceptor Pro in VTA mode. All you need is stock MAP sensor in your intake manifold (it should be there if you haven't removed it).
2) Fuel pump engament after turning on ignition for selected time. In some cases it can speed up your cold start.

We pay for this patches, so they are not free. Don't worry, it's not expensive and all collected money goes right to the developer for future patches. PM me if you are interested.

The guys running evo GT-A - are you guys pushing full boost at 3kRPM or letting it build up? I noticed the stock boost maps are quite mild and let it build slowly, i have mine building to 4krpm then around 19psi. Should i try full 20PSI at 3KRPM? OR is this not wise?
