Now launch control is being developed. Here is a video:
It has several ignition retard and fuel enrich modes.
Fuel:
1) Mode 0 - costant enrich % relative to standard fuel map
2) Mode 1 - enrich % map vs. RPM error
3) Mode 2 - independent fuel map (RPM vs Load)
Ignition:
1) Mode 0 - constant ignition timing
2) Mode 1 - timing is interpolated between constant launch timing and standard timing map using RPM Error vs. Load Error table
3) Mode 2 - uses the latest timing from launch ignition map (full-size, RPM vs. Load) and standard ignition map
Cylinder fuel cut map defines how many cylinders will be in fuel cut mode vs. RPM error.
Launch is activated by these conditions: speed = 0, brake pedal is pressed (disableable), TPS is above threshold.
Also there is a timer which starts to decay once any of these conditions become false (can be disabled). You can use it to disable fuel cut (rpm hold), ignition retard and fuel enrich one after another with any delay in any order (should be usefuel for M/T).
Due to enrich, ignition retard and some cylinders being off there is a little torque applied to gearbox and powertrain. Compared to regular 2 pedal start it is much more genle and you have no hard kick after releasing brakes.
My TD05-16G6C-10.5T produces 0.8 bar of boost at 2500 RPM with this launch control activated.
Though the best settings are still being sought.

Yesterday I received the first test version of alt maps.
Switches ignition, timing, boost control maps and open/closed loop mode.
It uses AC button to switch maps. But also switchig by pushing A/T shifter to "+" (shift up) & "-" (shift down) should be released.
It switches maps on-the-fly, you don't need to stop your engine.
