Hi Hamish, please also let me know what the differences in the 1.4E cable are (in reference to this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=381062 )

Nope not with this version, you will have to route it through the ecu. I wish it could, I have to build a female serial cable adapter for it, which is definately possible. When I get the openport 2.0 working with it, then I can use the 3.5mm serial plug with an adapter, but then you can't use it for flashing unless you swap the plug over to the 12pin when you want to flash. I think I am better to build a serial adapter miniusb to female serial directly to the gps device.

I spent 200hours studying USB protocols, and I wrote a usb host ohci driver in ARM for it. I am not getting them from Altina, I getting them from directly from the factory that makes the Altina units.

To be exactly correct the only difference is that the 1.4E cable is a K-line cable, whereas 1.3U is specialised KL-Line cable.

If you want to know what K means it is just EFI logging only.

KL specialised meanes EFI/ABS/AYC and reflashing.

Word. Are you any closer to making it compatible with the X. Or is that something your not interested in doing?

How many people actually have a X? how many has mitsubishi sold to date? seems like a few out there. I would support it, but I can't afford a X or if I can get a cheap 2nd hand EvoX ecu I could add support, it would only take me a few hours once I got hold of one.

There are more than a few out there. Have you checked the X section? We really need data logging and knock detection badly.

Also you already told me there WOULD be X support when I asked a question thru your support ticket system....unless that was not true.

Yea, there are many of them e.g. in Russia (let me know if you have questions about selling in Europe). And because new Colts are also CAN BUS, market penetration is interesting. Unfortunately I had to suggest PCMSCAN for one Colt owner. And because PCMSCAN can be bought bundled with interface, people will buy it instead of OP 2.0.
