no BCS boost curve and funny fueling..
while waiting for my new tactrix boost solenoid I decided to do a log with the std boost solenoid unplugged (only the electrical connection, the hoses were left in place..
the car is a std E9, EUDM 6 speed version, with 3 inch exhaust and sport 100 CPI cat, filter, and slight porting on the exhaust manifold and elbow..
here is my original log, 3rd gear pull, only the mivec table was tweaked..
here is my latest log, the only change is that BCS is unplugged and I dropped in the walbro 255 fuel pump..
I have two issues...
first of all... I was expecting a low and flat boost curve.. but my boost is as expected untill 4500 RPM and then it goes up to 18 psi which is what I got with the BCS connected.. ??
my only explanation is that somehow, the original boost solenoid opens by itself.... or it has to do with the fact that it is connected as a bleed valve in the system..
also, and more worringly. . my AFR goes from 10.5 at redline to 11.3... with the SAME injector pulse time.. ???
my only explanation would be the difference in outside temp... as right now it is -10 deg C and forst log was done at +10 deg C.. ??? does this sound plausible?
cheers

the problem is it is running leaner..
I unplugged the solenoid just for testing.. I wanted to see what was the actuator pressure..
