Thanks,

I figured there may have been some developments since the original data was posted...

Well the initial scaling was for gasoline, for E85 you need to drop the scaling 30% to richen it back up. On an SD car its straight math, on a MAF car its a little different. Not sure what setup you are running currently.

I'd try just grabbing the scaling and reducing (it thereby richening it up) by 25-30% and let it do what its gonna do. After that just dial in as normal.

Hi guys, im from australia and we run 98 octain fuel, at the moment my car is being built to a 2.2L with an evo red with about 25PSI boot, when E85 comes to our fuel stations in the next 3 to 4 months ill be looking a tgoing E85,

What i want to know is will the ID2000 be ok, the tuner rekons the size of the injectors will be 1300 pump and 1650 for e85...

So the question is will these scale ok down to 1300? cause i really dont want to have to buy two sets of injectors but if it means the car will idle better and run better for the first 4 months then id rather get the right injectors?

so what does everyone recommend?

personally I think they are a little too big.

a) I dont think you will need them to be that big
b) you wont get a perfect idle (read idle AFR) with them
c) because of b they will be harder to tune than others

I would be looking at 1500/1600 sized injectors...

Put it this way I am currently tuning a EvoX+2.2+40R on pump and its only using ~60% IDC at 8500rpm/27psi

Just to clarify something.

You have 98 RON fuel which equals our US 93 octane.

For 9653 and ID2000s, please correct me if this seems wrong.

Can someone advise from here? Continue using old values or use new scaling to match ID's specs?
Code:
8 Volts	10 Volts   12 Volts   14 Volts  16 Volts
1455	950	680	495	375

On left is old values taken from John Bradley's post here, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...ml#post7508281
New values on right.

Code:
<scaling name="InjectorLatency_NEW" units="ms" toexpr="x*0.015" frexpr="x/0.015" format="%.3f" min="0" max="4" inc="0.015" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>
 	<table name="Injector Battery Voltage Latency Compensation NEW" category="Global Fuel Settings" type="2D" scaling="InjectorLatency_NEW" address="37c0">
		<table name="Battery Voltage" type="Y Axis" elements="7" scaling="BatteryVoltage" address="67f0"/>
	</table>
