The small ones aren't used. Only their axes are used by other tables, so just leave the small maps untouched

Loaded this into my car and it wouldnt start. My rom ID was equiped with 96420008. Did some comparisons and the immobilizer HEX in my rom is 0x0055 not the 0x0040 like this was set up for. Reflashed with the new immobilizer hex and it fired right up.

After searching around, supposedly you can just install a JDM/EVO X MAP and it will log. Nothing else necessary

not on a USDM 8/9 that i have ever heard of. There are a bunch of scaling tables that need to be altered.

What rom are you using?

What do you mean? On v5.10 all I did was plug it in, patch for direct boost control, setup the mut for logging and it worked. V7 is giving me some boost control issues but I need to make sure it's not an error in my end.

That sensor is supposed to be used for emissions but we steal it for boost logging. if I understand this right, the only reason to change any scaling is to keep it for emissions. Since there are none on this rom we don't need to scale it.

Am I right?

Wow, great work to all involved! I hope to have some time to fire this up on my DSM this week!

I made a quick and dirty excel worksheet to turn the stock scaled fuel and timing maps into the big maps. Nothing fancy here, just averages in the new cells, no fancy interpolation or extrapolation. This is just to get me started so I figured I would share until an official excel package came out.

Donations on the way!

PS: One is in the new excel format and the other in 97-03 format.

Correct. All you need to do is plug it in and log. I bought the omnipower sensor and nothing needs to be adjusted to log up to 44psi of boost.

Yeah guys the MAP sensor is not used in this ROM unless you go SD. All you have to do is adjust the formula you log in EVOScan to the sensor you are using. Same with SD, adjust hte VE vs. load towards the MAP sensor. Nothing else needs to be done.

I'm down to help test any 88590015 v7 if you still need testing. Either way I'm anxiously awaiting the release *subscribed*

....orrrrrr you need it for PSI based ECU boost control!!! Which apparently can't be done with this rom if we can't calibrate the MAP sensor signal for the ECU to make any use of it. It needs to be done for the ECU to control boost with it at all. If that can't be done already (or added), looks like Tephra's doing the 94170015 rom as well.

The JDM 3 bar just "works" in this rom, at least it did with the older versions of 96530006

And the JDM 3 bar works in this latest version, I had a chance to tune with it yesterday, however I think JOT is worried about configuring the omni or some 4 bar sensor
