I uploaded my ROM and am trying to confirm if it is the TephraMod version. I have seen the SES light blink from time to time and a few people have suggested I might have Tephra. How can I tell from the ROM data if I have this or not?

ROM file attached is anyone wants to have a look at it. Previous owner said he believed it had been tuned by the owner before him. I've looked at some of the maps and compared to a stock Evo 9 ROM I downloaded mine does not appear to be stock.

Thanks.

Shane

That rom is not a Tephra ROM. It's been tuned, however I wouldn't say very well; there's quite a bit of timing at peak load/torque, likely too much for pump gas.

Thanks. I came to the same conclusion looking at the maps. Not very well tuned. Several areas I noticed seemed very random & non linear transitions. I have some work to do...

I think I know the answer to this but want to ask to be sure. Are the default maps included with Tephra v7 stock maps? Wondering how safe the default maps are to use right out of the box until I can get started retuning. I have tuned maps but as Raptord mentioned above they don't appear to be very good. The car seems to perform fine, AFR's are fine but I think I'd rather start over from stock and tune from there than clean up someone elses mess.

Thoughts?
