I would try making it more gradual. Start dropping timing around 3500 or so.

I'd need to lower my tps threshold to get the switch over sooner . It's at like 20 now. I'll try it.

what is the relationship between cells that are hit while on ttwo step? I highlight my 180 load cell at 5000, and 5250. Should the 5000 180 load be of more negative timing than the 180 5250? so that when its fuel cutting down its getting more retarded and that when the fuel cut turns off and the motor accellerates briefly its increasing timing relative?

Any chance you can post the screenshot with the rpm your cut is set at? I have been doing a little more tuning tonight but the idea of where to place timing and fuel is still a blur. I cant get more than 9 to 10 on a stock frame turbo.

ok reviewed the first page. Went back to basics, gonna try from there. My increase decrease rpm vs timing idea was over thought because a lot of people are just doing blocks.

Just made my own and first test shows 18.7 psi after just 1.3 seconds of being in it. No knock and smooth transition. I'm happy

ok, just started playing around with launch maps so bear with me.

I adapted raptord's -10 block, targetting 4500rpm stationary limit, and interlopolating up/down/all around.

used the fuel map from my high octane map.

Then i pulled some logs. From what i get out of it, i hit my -10 block, but from there all hell breaks loose. i am building boost 10psi-15psi.

you'll see from the graph, that's when i get 20+ counts of "knock". I think this knock is really just the backfire. as soon as the car starts moving, the knock goes away (on the graph). that said, the car bogs the heck down before transitioning to the high octane graph... i experimented with putting AFR to 10.0 in the fuel map and interlopolating, got similar results. what am i doing wrong here?

I never actually launched my car with the launch maps I posted, I only made them to unleash the ricer that's hidden away inside me and see some flames , so my map may or may not actually work once you start moving.

lol gotcha - what have other folks done to deal with the knock issue? From the logs it looks like it'd be getting 10.0-11.3 AFR fuel wise. Given the load readings that are taken from the 1byte (though i'm not sure if they're accurate or how they are taken - 320 load on launch? is that normal?! i guess that could make sense with tps 100% rpm 4500, and boost between 10-20psi?)

is there a way to tell the system to ignore knock on launch?
