I am getting the same issue. Any help? Is 2.4 only built for 32 bit windows and it is not compatible with 64 bit or is it something else?

have you tried reinstalling evoscan? i had the issue at one point but removed and reinstalled the program. make sure you have the serial number when reinstalling.

Im sure if you use evoscan 2.7 and the newest ecuflash you should be up and running. The newest one is very easy to use and the maptracer feature allows you to edit your fuel and timing maps.

Windows on a 64 bit machine will have a (x86) folder for all 32-bit software installs. So this would not be an issue. I know that when the newest evoscan came out they revamped a lot of things and included a different methodology for installing the openport 1 and 2 software drivers.

Did anyone find a solid fix for this. I had that same error but I changed the comparability settings . And went away but my logs are not saving anything . It's all zeroes.

i had started logging my car a few years back but got side tracked and never got around to it. im looking to picking it up again so i had all my stuff saved on a disc and i loaded it to this laptop with windows 7 and its nothing but trouble. i got this error that op put up i changed the compatibility settings and got rid of that screen. but now it will not log anything. i tried contacting evoscan thru their "support ticket" process but they only asked me if i had bought the cables with them and never heard from them again. i also told them that i don't remember the email i used to originally buy evoscan. i have the serial number i just need a new version that works with windows 7. or is that email tied to the serial? and if they dont match it will not let you log? know where i can get a newer version to try it out? thanks.
