Please help! How to log Innovate MTX-L to EvoScan or Openport 2 microSD???
Hey guys!
Since the Innovate MTX-L seems to be pretty new I couldn't find any info on how to log with it...
If one of the cracks on here could help me that would be much appreciated. Hamish would probably know the most about it?
More specific questions:
1. Can I log with it using the serial output by choosing LC-1 in Evoscan? Or how would I set up Evoscan?
2. I'd really love to be able to log directly to microSD via the Openport 2.0... Soldering is not a problem for me, but what cables to solder to the headphone like plug the OP2 takes? And how to set up the outputs in terms of Voltage and so on?
Pics with info from the manual:

In the meantime I found out:
You can log normally via the serial cable by choosing the LC-1 and the correct Port in Evoscan...
Now I'm looking for one of those chinch connectors (kind of like a small headphone jack that connects to the out on the gauge), the price is only 10 dollars at the Innovate homepage, but they want 70 dollars for shipping which is ****ing ridiculous...
In terms of customer support I could NEVER recommend a Innovate product to ANYBODY... My questions were simply ignored...

Ok, thanks to family in the US I ordered the "headphone-like" cable...
If that turns out to be working full logging is achieved!
- Via Serial Port (like you would normally, just choose LC-1 and Port in Evoscan)
- Via Micro-SD (by plugging the headphone jack into the Openport 2.0 and changing the txt file)
Will keep you up to date if version 2 works, once the cable gets here...

Would you settle for logging analogue out (is there one for this unit?) direct into the OP2.0? You can patch 0-5V directly to OP2.0 Pin 8 and set up ADC standalone logging that way.
If you're dead-set on digital, this is obviously not an option. But it does work - that's how I've got my AFRs being logged standalone...

I connected one analog out to my rear o2 input in the ECU harness. Then I followed the instructions on the forum, for logging AFR from the LC-1. Works fine for me! If you need any details, let me know. Good luck!

I have only done it at install many months ago... BUT, I should do a new one about now... It's not that hard, just do it after the car has been parked for a day or so and you won't have to take out the sensor if you're lazy...

I also only did it at the time of install, about 4 months ago. I have no idea how I'll know when it needs to be re-calibrated. At least, it seems to be working great.
