Failed to read the ROM
hey all, today i tried to read my ROM so i can save it and send it to a vendor for tuning. At first, i kept getting the error message, so I had the ecu unlocker opened just in case, made sure if I had enough power.. put it in ACC... and still got the message..
So I started up the car and pressed the 'Read ROM' button. Car cut right away but was able to read the ROM.
However, after the message saying it was completed, it gave me another message saying that it could not be defined? and gave me three options. Abort, save, or edit it (this was for developers).
I went with the middle option but it would not let me do the 'save as'. Is there any particular way I need to do this? or was I doing something wrong?
All I need to do is read it and save it so I can send it to the tuner. Any help is apprecaited!! Thanks/

im using the 1.3 cable if thats what youre asking. All i need to do is save the current 'tuned' rom and send it to the tuner so he can adjust it for me. I'm not planning to write it or try to figure out how to tune on my own.. its too complicated for me.. and i already gave up on it long time ago. haha
