be VERY careful, you will damage the clockspring if you dont fix it correctly...
Yeah sadly I think my clock spring is messed up already. The steering angle sensor read exactly 360 when I put everything back in which is why I was asking what the normal reading was. Thankfully with your tool it looks like I was just able to turn it back to 0 and everything seems to be driving fine. My snap-on scanner also gives me the option of recalibrating it but everything seems normal. Is there a chance to actually break the sensor if you turn it too much?

Yes there is a very real chance you will break it.. it's not a sensor but rather how the wires in the steering wheel are connected to allow wheel rotation..

If straight ahead is 360, then you can easily break the clock spring by going full lock... U need to pull the column and rotate careful so that it reads 0

good that's what I did really didn't want to break my SAS. Don't think I can save the clockspring though couldn't find a picture on how to wind it back up.

Thanks for the help

I know it has been a year since the last post but Tephra, have you made anymore headway with your application. More specifically on the TPMS side?

Great job on everything you have provided to this community!
