FIC 2150cc High-z pump gas stock ECU possible?

Anyone runninng this injectors un pump gas? Any issues with idle or driveability at all? Thinking about buying them but I won't be running e85 all the time so thats reason I'm asking to see if they idle fine with just pump gas on the stock ECU. Thanks in advance

Short answer is yes, I run pump gas during the winter on these without issue. Driveability and idle are perfectly fine once you get your tune dialed in, you may have to apply the minimum IPW patch to get them to idle closer to stoich otherwise they may idle pretty rich no matter what changes you make.

the minimum IPW patch is a must, pump gas isn't absolutely perfect but its good

I run my 93 tune on my 2150s once every few hundred miles just for a tank. Car drives and idles identical on 93 as it does on E85.

Yeah its been possible for awhile-

I had the ID2000s on gas in Sept of 2009-

The main issues is on an 8 you need the minimum IPW patch to get them to run on trims. What I have found is they definitely seem happier off the trims and idling at a 13.0 but thats most Evos really, independent of the injectors.

OP, any feedback?

I am thinking of switching to these injectors and been trying to size out the work required to get them to work. can someone confirm of the stock resistor pack needs to be modified to allow these to run? ..... I suppose they would come with their P2P connectors, but wasn't sure if anything else needed to be modified.

Also, can you someone reference the IPW patch that is needed for this?
Thanks in advance!

Ali, did you get the 2150s going on your car yet?
I was meaning to send you an xml update covering the Injector Small Pulse IPW Adder table, which I now know will be incorrect in the xml I sent you.

Hi Merlin,
I was planning to upgrade to these injectors, however, I decided to pull out my FIC1450’s for an inspection and noticed one of them was fairly clogged due to not running E85 as often as I should. Car is not a daily driver! ….. So I sent them to FIC for a a cleaning and it appeared that one of them was off by ~15%....since then my idle and cruise fuels have been behaving better and I have decided to upgrade the block, so been busy with all of this. I will surely revisit this subject once the new block is broken in and spend more time behind the computer. I appreciate your follow up and help!

Here is a pic of how my injectors looked like

I also saw MrFred’s recent thread about 2150’s tuning notes so will definitely be taking advantage of this.
