Correct, FiTronic is for those who don't mind letting others tune their car.

Sorry, I didn't see this post before. The wiring diagrams I used are all in this thread and were provided by others.

The scaling I used I worked out by running different ethanol contents through my sensor and reading the voltage reported in Evoscan. I graphed them in Excel and used the best fit formula it calculated. I put this formula in Evoscan to display the ethanol percent.

Unfortunately my laptop was stolen last week and I didn't backup that particular information so I will have to do it all over again Eventually I will just buy one of the Innovate or Zeitronix gauges to replace this box.

Im currently working on a e85 display that will include a 0-5v output that can be used for automatic switching. Ive been bench testing and hoping to have installed in the car by the end of next week

Just connect your gauge output to the ECU pin that is used normally for map switching:
- Evo 8 4-plug ECU: pin 42
- Evo 8 3-plug ECU: pin 64

Follow the steps in the first few posts to patch your ROM and start tuning!
How did I miss this? If I can't source a FiTronic kit in the next two weeks, going to plan free

I've been looking at this for the better part of the month, does anyone want to attempt patching this to the 9417 family of ROMs?

I'm thinking if I front a cash bounty for it we can output some good for the community.

what's the current bounty at? i would be wiling to pitch in w/ this bounty to get this to work reliably and into the hands of more tuners

Ya with the equation I provided you. Same one we use for FiTronic.

I'd be willing to toss at least $100 into a pot. There is no reason why flex fuel can exist for the X but not for the 8/9 if we have a base line for what the patch should be.

If I didn't have family obligations, I'd spend the rest of the season teaching myself how ECU disassembly works

FiTronic does evo 8/9 and if you want to tune it yourself ill work something out with the person / tuner where they can tune single maps themselves and we can add their maps into the rom so its YOUR TUNE.

Feel free to pm me here or contact tom@tscomptuned.net (FiTronic - Self tune in the subject).

why do you keep trying to sell another product and your services in this thread?

Because I don't think a lot of people know it exists. I've sold over 60 kits now. That's nothing vs what it should be.

Its simply just another option for people as is this current time.

We understand that. However this thread is not about your product regardless of how comparable to the rom patch as it may be. We're not bagging your product, but please start your own thread about it and get out of this one to push your product. It's rather disrespectful to the thread starter.
