Immobilizer (again)

Hi all,
I got ecuflash (1.42) and downloaded the latest version of tephra v7 stock (mods but not speed density etc, the one suggested here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...hramod-v7.html)

I used EDM/JDM/USDM 96530006 As i have a JDM evo 8.

Before i did anything i read, saved and wrote down my immob codes multiple places. Saved the stock rom etc.

Now i entered my correct immobilizer code, but there is no HEX viewable in my stock read rom. I added the following line to the evo7base.XML (which ecuflash says it is reading for my stock rom)

Code:
<table name="Immobilizer Hex" category="Misc" address="ffa" type="1D" level="2" scaling="Hex16"/>
I then open the rom but i cannot view the damn IMMOB HEX code. Why? I know its the immobiliser stopping my car from starting because if i disable it bit 2 in the pref codes the car starts fine lol.

Any ideas?

can you see the immo number in the stock rom , if its immo hex ffa you mean then it doesnt apply to the stock rom only the v7 one . here what you set it too also you need to enter it as 0xXXXX , or click the box hit enter in the box type 0x then the appropriate number and hit enter. (0 is Zero not O)

0x0040 for 2003 or 0x0055 for 2004 or 0x0058 for 2005 USDM - 0x004D for EDM:

Thank agains,
I have the Immobiliser number from the stock rom. But I thought you need to also enter the correct code for IMMOBILISER HEX into the V7 rom. Is this wrong? If you open Immobiliser Hex, it says "for 2003 enter XXXX, 2004 XXXX, 2005 XXXX USDM, for EDM enter XXXX". It doesnt say anything about JDM? I input the correct value for Immobiliser, but it wont let me start the car.

Then if i disable Immobiliser but making the prephery bit FFA bit 2 =0 it DOES start. Therefore, the issue is 100% immobiliser.

ill try and send it to you tonight. But as i said, i disabled it in the rom im using atm, so there was no need to enter it. Its very clear where you enter it (MISC--> IMMOBILIZER and IMMOBILIZER HEX)
