Unplugged it will try and idle around 12 Afr
Just picked up a new o2

Tried forcing full time open loop for the time being and whatever changes I made it would still target about 12 Afr...

Would it be easier to set the min temperature for closed loop to something like 200F (90C)?

I personally turn the O2 feedback all the way off, and then start chopping either scaling or latency out until I have the 13.5 idle in open loop. Then I go back and work on cruise since just using the table is the easiest.

I would probably still leave the O2 feedback off at idle with the new O2 sensor and then use it only for cruise. I will look and see what numbers I have for the 1650s. Tony, this appears to be on E85 in the event I missed it?

Whooooo I've been on 1170 scaling for E85. I'll try this out, thank you!

Well you are having rich problems because of the high latency and trying to cure it with the scaling. this approach might be similar over all but its what I have done that seems to work. I think the leanest I go on E85 scaling is 975.

ok

so there are 3 sets of 1600ish injectors for Evo

Low-Z (ie this thread is about)
old High-Z (the ones released and recalled about 3 years ago, the ones mrfred is talking about with temp sensitivity issues)
new High-Z (1650H's) - JUST released...

Bringing this back in hopes for some new info. I’m trying to set scaling for the new FIC 1650’s and I can’t get scalling anove 770cc, is there code I need to add? My FIC sheet says my scaling averages at 1575cc Tephra v7 with speed density 2.0 8895 rom

Scaling is effected by your SD tuning and MAF scaling as well, as they're all integral in calculating fuel need based on airflow.

On my tune, the injectors are not scaled per the sheet, latencies are also different.

Also make sure you have the minimum IPW adjusted.

Ill need both, im Using 91 pump gas, but will be switching to Arizona's awful e50 (still better then 91) soon.

I need the min IPW patch couldnt seem to find it for the 8895 rom. I’m not using a MAF sensor.

Do you mean 8859 ROM?

My pump gas values for FIC 1650's high impedance

MIPW = 0.024ms
Injector Scaler = 1392
14.06V = 0.936

Yeah sorry 8859. Where is the mipw
patch for that rom? And what about your other voltages?
