Editing the stepper at idle

is it possible to reduce the step for the ISCV when on a cold start? when warm my car revs to 2000rpm and as it gets warmer comes down to the correct 850-900rpm once fully warmed up

Which is the best to edit the stepper lookup table? or is there another way
