unable to connect to vehicle interface and other problems

Hello,

Basics
I own a 2g Eclipse with an Evo 8 Ecu with Tehpra v7 rom and an Openport 1.3U cable with ecuflash license.
I’ve flashed my Ecu about 400 times.
I am using a win7 64bit Laptop for flashing, the PC is mainly used for the car.

A friend could not flash his ecu, so I testet his car with my laptop and my cable, I could read and write his ecu. We suspected his cable was damaged.
As I flashed my own ecu, I had the same problems like him, I couldn’t read and flash my ecu with my laptop and cable. My guess was, the car from the friend is really sloppy builded, so I thought his car damaged my cable with a short circuit.
Another friend send me his cable. It was a long time ago that he used it. I plugged it to my laptop and tried to flash my ecu. (win7 install the driver correctly)
Ecuflash showed “unable to connect to vehicle interface” - it’s the same 1.3U cable as I own.
I have installed the new ecuflash 1.44, I’m normally using 1.42 - the same problem. I unfortunately cannot test 1.29a, because I only have 64 bit pc’s
My own cable shows this mistake “no response to any known code” (see also Log file)

What’s wrong? I’m really sad, because it worked fine the last years every time.

Best regards

battery voltage

are you sure the battery voltage is okay? When my battery voltage ran too low I would get that error message also that it couldn't connect.

Try running the car for a few minutes and trying it again.

My Battery is ok, my friends cable works with 1.29a. His cable has the typically 1.42 mistake.

If you don't try it you don't know if it will fix your problem.
