Random Wiring Harness - Unable to connect with tantix
Hey guys.
I bought a evo 9 and I was trying to connect my tantrix cable into it to return the rom to the stock rom however when I try to connect with the tantrix cable it just does this
kernel get version
-- Ulocking ECU --
starting session...
requesting seed...
interface closed
Now that makes me think someone ether the ECU is locked (I know it has been tuned because someone forced on all the readiness monitors) or maybe an alternate wiring harness was installed
I looked under the passenger side glovebox and found the some of the harness has been clipped and other parts have been tapped into going to some kind of a sensor thats monitoring boost from a line that comes in from the firewall.
Also I found a 6pin wire loom that comes from somewhere up in the dash.
Attached are images of what I found any advice of what this 6pin loom is used for along with why someone would tap into the harness and if its related to my unable to connect to ecu flash would be appreciated.
Thanks
Aaron

Hi,
The last picture shows connector which looks similar to the Innovate Motorsport 6 plug connecter, which f.ex is used for connecting to wideband sensor.
The third picture is most likely of a boost sensor.
Does the previous owner not have information on what has been done with the vehicle.
