Can any one tell me how this table, "Lean Spool Correction" works?
Hi, I found this table, and am curious. I do run Lean spool at a limited level. My settings are very conservative. Start RPM 2500. Stop RPM 3750. My AFR values only increase .2 in the 11 AFR areas in increments of 2. Works really well. However, this table suggest the when Lean Spool is enabled, anything below the Start RPM is corrected by this table. This also suggest that the old standby of just setting the start/stop rpm tables together or the same, does in fact not fully disable Lean Spool. You must do it in the Periphery Bit's section. Because this table will still be at play.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks in advance.

I believe it is a fuel multiplying factor, that is in play above the set load threshold and below the minimum set rpm.
As to just why we have such a parameter, off hand I cannot think of a reason.
Except to say that these functions are sometimes applied to atmo Mitsubishi engines eg some Eclipse roms have these maps active and so it may be useful in that application.
It does appear to be a live parameter and not just a legacy item.
