Just got tuned by Devin at Boomba Racing
Like the title says, just got the car tuned by Devin. Got some baseline numbers last week and it put down 215/225 on a horrible street tune with no timing and 20 psi boost.
After swapping the egr valve (which was missing lines and a solenoid) with a block-off plate, and replacing 2 intercooler pipe clamps. We got a new baseline of 265/250 with a stock map and 20psi boost.
The final numbers on 23psi tapering to 18psi were 288hp/265tq with 93 octane on Boomba's mustang dyno.
Mods that matter:
Built 10.0:1 motor with Kelford 272s
AEM intake
Dc sports downpipe
custom 3" exhaust with just 2 short resonators
stock o2/stock turbo w/ 10.5 hotside
walbro 255 pump
everything else is stock
I'm happy with the power its putting out, especially for a mustang dyno. The car rips pretty good on the street. Thanks to Boomba and Devin for a great tune I will most likely be back with a few more boltons and a touchup on the tune and hopefully hit 300. I also have an evo 9 turbo and ported o2 housing at home. Debating on installing it or selling it to go towards some other mods...
I just need to scan the dyno sheet, unless Boomba wants to email it to me lol

Actually that 265 hp number was made with my basemap, its not a stock map. Pretty much everything is tweaked. This basemap just gives me a solid starting point to tune from.
So that 215 is your baseline, with a final of 288. It was fun having you over here and im happy I was able to bring some life back into your EVO!!
Put that Evo 9 turbo on with a nice upper intercooler pipe and your well into the 300's
BTW: ill post the dyno sheet when I get into work tomorrow

The DTC is probably for A PO300 its a misfire code that evo 8s have had issues with, or a rear o2 sensor. I can turn off the DTC light with a quick flash using the tephra mod in about 5 minutes.
Stop by next time your in the area and Ill take care of you!!
