BR 2.3 DBB FP Red

If anyone is interested in a back story of my pain and sorrow over these last 2 seasons along with the car being a PITA to tune, you can find it here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...acing-ftw.html

While the car had leftover 100octane race gas in it (see my pain and sorrow thread), the tune was done as if it would be running 93 octane.

Here is the car details:
BR 2.3 Engine
BR STG 3 Head
GSC S2 Cams
BR Air Intake
BR Turbo Back Exhaust
Skunk2 Intake Manifold + Throttle Body
DBB FP Red Turbo
Full Race Exhaust Manifold

428whp/391ft/lbs

Here is the dyno chart from when the FP Black (JB) was installed on the car. Everything else was exactly the same. Great turbo comparisons for anyone interested in the 2. 459whp/404ft/lbs

The red is making more tq faster which is going to greatly benefit me in autox.
@3k it's 220ft/lb vs 170~
@3.5k it's 315ft/lb vs 240~
@4k it's 385ft/lb vs 360ft/lbs
Plus I'm only losing about 30whp on the top end.

Both cars were turned for 28lbs of boost.

Probably not easily. My sheets are all folded 20 different directions and can't get a straight layout of the FP Black Setup. The easiest way would see if David jumps in and could possibly do it right in the system.

only 30hp up top?
I see 30hp loss from 4500-7500rpm pretty much.

Poor wording yes but the point still stands. I'm not losing much by switching to the red.

Very nice set up makes me miss how hard the red hit when it spooled up when I had it in my car it was a lot of fun on the street. Good luck with your car you’ll find out what’s going on don’t give up on it

Took 5th out of 113 drivers. All in all pretty good day. Hot has heck but the car seemed to hold up.
