Talking New Stock Appearing HP Record..........815WHP

In the past month or so I've been talking to Robert@FP about sending us another stock appearing turbo to see if we could set another record. He's been experimenting on a new turbo but as of right now has no plans on selling it. It's no secret that I have always liked the stock appearing turbos. After some texting back and forth, he was ready to send us the turbo. All I can say about it... this thing is a FREAK of nature. Very much stock appearing, like the FP Black, and I believe with some different bolt-ons, we can make even more power. Our first goal was to keep it looking as much like the stock setup. We wanted to see if we could beat the record with our Spec-Ops ported stock exhaust manifold (porting done by a local service member)... and we did.

On to the car. This is one of our shop cars now since Mikey moved from Washington to VA and previously had English Racing build his car. We have alot of respect for Lucas, Aaron and the guys at ER and appreciate the recommendation from them when Mikey moved here. I have to tell you that those guys built a TANK when it comes to this motor. The ER 2.4LR has over 40k miles, and they were hard driven miles, as Mikey used to beat the **** out of the car on a daily basis, before leaving it at the shop once he joined our team. We have done upgrades since it came here, 4.11 trans, Exedy triple, IC piping, and also have refreshed the timing components and recently replaced his Cometic HG with a fresh Cosworth HG that we use in our Spec-Ops 2.4LR builds.

Here is a list of mods that are done on the car:

- ER 2.4LR 10.0:1
- ER Head w/GSC custom grind cams
- Magnus V5 Intake manifold w/Boomba 75mm T/b
- FIC 2150 High Z injectors
- SparkTech Non-CDI COP
- ER custom Fuel system (Dual Bosch 044/040, Fuel Rail and stock FPR)
- ETS 3" UICP and 2.5" Licp
- ETS 4" FMIC
- ETS 3" DP
- ETS 3.5" Catback
- JMF O2 dump (Thanks to Jim for getting it to us quick)
- FP DBB stock appearing turbo (Thanks Robert for allowing us this opportunity)
- Spec-Ops ported stock exhaust manifold (Thanks Omar)
- ER SD Base Programming on stock ECU (Thanks Aaron)
- Omni 4 bar
- Tuned by Freddie and Jason with our modified Mivec, timing and fuel map for this turbo
- Hallman MBC@ 43.5psi (had to tighten down the WG arm)
- E85

Here is the graph uncorrected Dynojet whp numbers. Dynojet 424xlc2:

Boost and AFR we logged ourselves. Heres the log(minus a couple things ):

Thanks goes out to National Speed for allowing us to use their dyno for testing. Thanks to Kerry, Sean and Joel for all their hard work on the mechanical work, Freddie and Jason for tuning, Josh on getting us the parts quick, Robert for shipping us this turbo and Jim@JMF for getting us this o2 dump in a couple days. We have a great group of guys at the shop that consistantly work their tails off and our Mustang dyno will be here soon as that's our next big step in improving our capabilities.

Thanks to all our loyal customers for their continued support.

-Matt

This thing on the street makes you feel like you are testing yourself for your personal G threshold...

No plans of selling it. Perfect, another reason to post more useless info. I'm in the market for a stock appearing turbo for my custom manifold and motor setup that will make close to the 750 mark instead of using the 6266 but this is to much of a perfect turbo and can't obtain it. Stupid Eleanor.

I read that there is no torque curve because you guys weren't getting an accurate tach signal? That has no effect on the HP reading on a DJ, only the torque?
