Great job on the build! Looks fantastic.

I haven't built a 4G63 yet, so I don't have experience with the rotating assembly. Any reason you chose the parts you did over others? I don't see too many Eagle cranks on here. IIRC I see more DSM's with them.

Also are you running a 2G DSM ECU to run ECMLink? I like the ECMLink. Always thought it was a shame he didn't import it to the 8/9/10 ECU's (unless there's something I don't know about).

Good luck with the 9 second pass. I'm sure you'll get it!

I was gonna to go with the manley 94mm but it was a little out of my pricerange then. This one was pretty dead on too, the machine shop said it was way out of balance, but once I sent them my harmonic balancer and it was almost dead on.

I went with ecmlink because I already had it, and I didn't have time to learn something new (I had aem v1 too, but work was owning me at the time).

Works really well no problems for me.. I've tuned three evo 8's on it so far.

Not a lot of people use it because the stock ecu is....well....free, and I believe it's a little faster too.

One more question, what size is you exhaust manifold runners? 1.5" or 2"?

I'll have to check when I get back home on Tuesday for you,but I believe they're 2" off the top of my head. They're bigger runners than the older AMS manis and such

Thanks guys.

I was actually going to go with a TRE trans, but customer service was great with RRT and it was a lot cheaper.

Watching vids of RRTs customers cars and his own made me sure of my choice. Shifts like butter so far!

Thanks guys. It was fun until the snow started to fall, now it's in hibernation until spring time. Gonna look for a cf trunk, run bigger fuel lines, a cf driveshaft, and re-spray the brakes.

Should be a fun next year!

It's not really any more loud than my old JIC catback I had. This has a vibrant muffler on it too.

Do you reckon a heat shield is needed for the air filter or you can run without it?
