Forced Performance Zero results are in! Test subject: EVO IX 2.4LR R2 Cams 93 & E85
Me and Mo finally got to tune his car on the FP Zero. After first tuning a few nights ago and making nice numbers on 93oct (600whp+) with more in it, we decided to switch out to E85. First few pulls on E85 I knew something was a little off. The fuel pressure was dropping at higher RPM, while the injector duty cycle was still great and the afr was good, I didnt want to continue like this knowing what is happening.
I had him pull his pumps. He modded, and replaced both I believe. First pull on the new pumps 1.5 FULL points richer! Success! now we can see what this turbos really made of.
Heading up into the 85%+ injector duty cycle territory with a 12AFR+ I knew we were really pushing some serious air with this car. WGDC still under 90%, I didn't want to overspin the turbo or **** it off, so what we did instead is a 4th gear pull to see if it would naturally run more boost, which it did and IDC increased vs the 3rd gear pulls.
Just enough to touch slightly over 800WHP, which we were happy with. Later on I will post another result of the Zero vs the Black on this vehicle, but for now this thread will be released only.
Mods on this car are as follows:
2.4LR / MAP rods / wiseco HD pistons 9.0:1
MAP Stage 4 Ported cylinder head Kiggly Springs / L19 Headstuds
GSC Mivec R2 Cams
MAP Rev 3 Intake manifold re-ported by Curt brown (CBRE Racing)
75MM Boomba throttle body
FP Zero (Stainless single scroll housing)
FP Exhaust manifold ported by Curt brown (CBRE Racing)
MAP 02 Eliminator downpipe with external 38mm WG
Velocity stack intake
Buschur Race FMIC (3.8" Garrett core)

Buschur Double Pumper / both pumps modded
FIC 2150cc injectors (almost 90% duty cycle with 12 AFR)
Grimmspeed 3 port
Quartermaster 8 leg
Tephra v7 speed density /w ecuboost
The following overlays will be posted/shared below at this time:
E85 both 3rd and 4th gear:
E85 & 93oct overlayed:
93 Octane only:
Any Questions feel free to ask. I will try to answer everything I am able to answer for you. Otherwise I will request the owner of the vehicle to come in and answer anything I cannot answer.
A picture of the vehicle below, Along with the Turbo, that makes these results possible.
