Daniel's PTE 6870 TEASER 807whp and plenty to go

An incomplete comparison between a 6466 and 2.2 vs the 6870 and 2.2, cam to cam, intake to intake, housing to housing. The difference in this is the 6870 doesnt have the timing pushed to where we normally take it but it is in 4th gear. This was not easy to find so hopefully it answers your questions because it is the only 2 files where everything matches this close.

Damn, how much rpm would the 3rd gear give up? 200-300? even if the 6870 gave up 300rpm its still on par to tie the 6466 in spool in hotter conditions.
Aside from the spool, power looks similar up until 8000rpm thats when the 6870 starts to shine! I understand the timing wasnt as aggressive either, so you can really see that the 6870 could potentially kill the 6466 in EVERY way...which is no easy feat. Its hard to wrap my head around it because with similar gen 2 tech from both turbos, its mind boggling how a larger turbo can do EVERYTHING better.

exactly what I was going to say I love the 6466 and this turbo seems to be eating it up with ease.

Do you think the 6466 is obsolete for the big turbo guys when comparing these turbos? I know the graph doesnt tell the whole story and maybe the 6466 might feel more alive on the street? If one were shooting for 800whp would the 6870 be the better choice because of the extra headroom in potential power?
