Impressed by the results of this combo. Car is running a BW s364.5 SXE t4 ts 1.0ar turbine housing. Its on a WSRD engine and head package with s3 cams. Plug and play Link G4+ ecu with oil pressure failsafe. The car is limited to pump gas as e85 is scarce.

Car made 640 and just under 500 tq at 32psi on 93 oct.

Single walbro 450 and FIC 2150s for fueling.

what gear & fd was used for the pull?

How does this turbo compare to other large units?

Right around 5500 RPM in third gear.

Which is in the same ballpark as a 6466 on a 2.0 litre with S3 cams, right ?

One more question, do you have the 80mm turbine wheel or the later released smaller turbine variant ?

This is the bigger 80mm turbine.




Blue line is the borg on a 2.0L with s3. The Red is a Evo 9 on a T3 6466 and S3 mivec cams. Different weather but you get the point. The evo 9 was about 28psi or so if I recall.

Thank you for posting, so basically in summary the SX-E spools really well for a journal bearing turbo with that size turbine wheel.

Re-reading the original post, would love to see what this setup would do on E85 with more boost and rpm dialed in...
