Does shorty antenna give bad reception

Does shorty antenna give bad reception

Anybody have the 2" or 4" short perrin antenna? and do you still get good reception?

I have the 4inch and my old Ebay one the same size had better signal .

yes its gives bad reception for me that why i switch to an S2K antenna

it does , but if u spend most of your time listening to your mp3 player, then u should not mind. I have the 4 inch perrin

I actually got one on purpose because I unfortunately dont have a headunit with an aux in, so I play my ipod thru one of those FM transmitters, which uses a station with poor signal to play the ipod thru the car....so yes, they do give poor reception.

I have the Perrin 2" and the FM reception is fine, maybe even better than stock, but I don't get any AM reception at all (not sure if thats the antennas or Alpine decks fault).

I went from stock to the perrin 2" and my reception got noticably worse. I cant pick up some radio stations well anymore. I still dont mind it though, I would go with the 4" if I could do it again

i have the 4" and the reception isnt too bad but worse than stock.

have the 2 inch perrin reception not to bad i really dont listen to the radio i have an ipod hook up..but love the look of the shorty antenna hated the r/c car look

I also have s2k antenna sinc I retrofitted it in my integra now got rid of it I put it on it's not as foot as stock but looks better lol. I have life time wit xm so don't Need the signal there

i have the perrin 2" signal strength is about the same as the stock antenna.

im runnin the same, depends on what ur area ur in, yea my reception is a little worse then the stock one but my antenna dont look like a gayass jetta antenna anymore hahhaha

I have a 2 inch perrin and i dont notice a difference at all!
