What is the best way to attach aftermarket sub box and the amp in the evo trunk. Some pics would be nice.

I've been trying to figure this out as well, my sub slides all over the place right now. The only thing that I could think of would be to put a piece of plywood underneath the carpet that is contoured to the back of the car and mount it to that so it couldn't move.

Put some screws into the side of the board that covers your spare tire so the screws would attach to the chassis. Then get an L bracket or two and screw it into the sub box and then into the board. As for the amp, mines mounted up behind the seats cross frame.

I was trying to avoid drilling into the chassis, But it seems like the only option so far

With my setup I don't use the cheap plastic cover behind the seat. I took that out as it creates quite a barrier for sound to enter the passenger compartment. I designed my sub setup to be easily removed in minutes. If you remove the plastic cover behind the seat you will see two metal loops that are used to secure the rear seat near the bottom. I have used a ratchet type strap (aka motorcycle strap) to hook from one loop around the sub box to the other. This is by now means a great looking custom install but it secures the box far better than any other temporary solution I could come up with and allows me to remove the box for track days. It has never once come loose or moved inside my trunk. If anybody has questions or needs pics just PM me.

1) The "X" brace behind the back seat. Put a couple of anchors in em, like those "O" rings I have 2
2) To your sub, attach same type. I have 2
3) Get small tie downs. The Pull to tighten type, not bungies.
4) Using tie downs you have the box tightly connected to the xbrace.

No, no one does. And my trunks gutted thanks to the old owner. So I have no spare tire or carpet. So, all I see is.... metal. Woo.

i have the carpet screwed into a piece of plywood thats cut to the same shape of the carpet. then i have the box velcroed to that.

I am running two JL audio amps. A 300/2 and 500/1. There are mounted under the front seats. One per side. Keeps the weight low being mounted there.
