Loose shift knob

Is it a stock knob? If so it could be the leather wrap is spinning, mine did that. Can you pull the knob a little off center and try and slowly spin it that way? Like you are trying to cross thread it a little, but just putting pressure on one side while spinning it.

i had the same problem with my stock shift knob. all you have to do is pull while turning. this will enable the knob to slowly lean off the shift lever. if not i would do a plan B and cut the thing off.

any update on this? I have the same issue. I'll try to grab it tight and see if that stops it from rotating.
it's a little bit annoying. I'm fine with the stock knob otherwise, if I can fix it, I'll stick with it.

is the stitching real? was thinking maybe get a syringe and inject a little super glue in there.
there's absolutely nothing wrong with the stock shift knob in my mind... except for this.
