SSL-new head unit-No sound from rear speakers

I put in a new headunit with the adapter integration harnesses for the SSL evo and i get sound to the front speakers and the sub. but nothing to the rear speakers?

I tried switching around the RCA's but didn't help.

there was also a solid blue cable from the integration harness for "power antenna" that didnt have a cable to go to from the new head unit harness?

Any idea's?

thanks,
Alex

Here is a picture of how it was wired up. only the top and bottom RCA plugs on the right side (facing us in the picture) made sound. i could swap the rear speaker RCA's to the position the fronts show in in this picture and make sound but for some reason the plug in's where there rears are at in this picture did not work.

also the solid blue wire coming off of the adapter harness to the car to the harness from the unit has no matching wire... was i supposed to connect it to a different colored wire on the harness?

Just to get more info. If you plug in just one RCA and go around to all 4 channels 1 by 1 do you get sound from any speaker? Try doing this with every RCA. Could be that you have a bad head unit. Could be that one of your RCAs is bad.

I had this same problem in my SSL, I had to play around with the settings in the radio to get the rears and sub to work. Not sure what radio you have but mine was a Pioneer.

Only the two rca ports on the outside edge of the headunit. But I can plug any of the 4 rca inputs Into those two and they all work when I test them in those two

This is the second of the same headunit I tried, the first one did the same thing so I don't think its the headunit

It's nice to know the pinout, but for the SSL we only utilize 4, count them 4 total wires from that harness. The rest is funneled through the Pre-outs into the Amplifier harness.

x2 the SSL's apparently aren't as plug and play with the kit as the non SSL's

Yeah, I know the earlier post only used 4 wires---and yes, I counted them but thought they may be of value--maybe you don't see it that way. If the above image comes thru on this site its the pin out for the amp.. You have a wiring issue and someone is trying to help you out. Wiring isn't my thing but I got it rt on the first pass on my SSL. Good Luck.

Thanks man! Where did you get your harness from though? The one I got for my Ssl only has 4 wires coming from the conversion harness. You can see it in the dash side of the picture I posted.

The one in the pic you sent has more wires
