My brake running lights and gauge cluster lights recently stopped working after the two wires going to my boost guage touched and (I believe) short circuited. I can't find the fuse to change so I'm wondering if it is a deeper problem then a simple fuse. Thanks.

I guarantee you just haven't looked for the fuse.

You said it yourself; they touched and short-circuited. Start pulling fuses until you find the correct one
