Group 51 (civic) Battery

i have looked inn the search and on google and have yet to find pictures or detailed accounts on how the battery performs or how much modifications needs to be done to make it fit. if anyone has any information or pictures they can add that would help. my recent battery died and the one i replaced it with is now hitting my pipping so the 51 is smaller and same CCA seems like the way to go

I did the Honda battery and then switched to the Miata battery. There are tons of threads in this topic. Go through google type civic battery or 51 or Miata then type EvoM and you'll find lots of info

You could use the stock tray cut it up, use a civic tie down but I added a cross brace under the battery to prevent front to back movement

I bought my Miata battery from autzone which has a warranty. That being said I've left my battery without turning it on for a month and a half and it cranked right up. Hasn't had a problem turning the car over. I first went with the civic battery for the same reason but the Miata one has been more than sufficient with my muse short route uicp.

Just look for the pics, you'll find them. I'm at work so can't look for you but I know they are out there when I did my reasearch
