Black & Purple wire under center console, function?

Black & Purple wire under center console, function?
I was just going to put my center console back together and noticed this wire, which is frayed and appears to have been ripped from something. Anyone know what it's function is?

Probably was wiring for a Turbo Timer, Remote Start, Alarm, Fuel Cut Switch, or some other 12v component. Trace the wires to see where the go and remove if needed.

After looking at it again, it does look like it was something added aftermarket. The black wire is connected to a ground that does not look OE. Thanks!
