I bought a few OEM new filter so I'm stuck with it for a bit. For warranty purpose (suck anyway) stick with OEM.
Personally I think OEM should be just fine. $10 for an oil filter is ....

You bought the OEM oil filters in bulk, so you probably got them a bit cheaper than list price. List price for one OEM filter is around $12. List price for a Mobil 1 M1-108 filter is $10.
Do math to understand where I am going with this one.
Go buy a OEM filter and a Mobil 1 M1-108 and cut them open. See if you laugh at what you find.

I agree that the OEM filter is not the best but it beats spending $10. Plus it's OEM

What???
Do you also agree that since water is cheaper, we should use that instead of motor oil?
OEM doesn't always mean best. You get what you pay for, and Mobil 1 has been known for years as being one of the best out there for a very competitive price.
BTW, I was showing the price the dealership would charge for the OEM oil filter. If you are going to compare the price Auto Zone will charge for the Mobil 1 one, then I can quote the dealership's price.
