Greddy Profec Type-S
I have heard good and bad things from this Electronic Boost Controller.Greddy says it will hold up to like 42psi. I have heard that it wouldn't hold anymore than like 17 psi on low and no more than 22 psi on high. I spoke with Greddy and they said that this type of issue is only associated with the Evo owners. I guess both knobs on the gain and boost are turned all the way over and those are the numbers they are getting. greddy says that they were "LOOKING" into it, but I just wanted to see what others have experienced.

I have a bigger turbo and lots of mods, with my high gain barely engaged i don't have any trouble holding 24 to 26 lbs of boost with the profec type-s. I am thinking its not the EBC.

I just put the Profec II in. I thought the same thing as you guys. This piece of crap doesn't hold boost, it wavers, etc etc. So what did I do? I asked the guy I bought it from what the hell and he showed me this thing called "Owners Manual." Basically he told me RTFM and even emailed me a picture of the page I needed. How nice!
So basically, I was running 75% to barely hold 20 psi. I knew that was wrong. Now I run 45% to hold 22 psi. Ahhhhh.
What did I do?
I removed the plastic cap over the unused port on the solenoid. Duh!
It works beautifully now.
