Will an evo 8 clutch fit my evo 6 flywheel?
I have an evo 6 engine with an exedy twin plate clutch and flywheel. I am looking to get a new clutch but don't want to have to change the flywheel as well. Will any evo 8 clutch fit and work with my evo 6 exedy flywheel?
Thanks

Evo 8 clutch can't work with Evo 6 flywheel.
You can buy an EVo 8 flywheel and clutch kit...or another exedy setup...or check clutchnet.com for clutch disc's.
I have an EVO 6....used to have Exedy set-up...was checkin the same thing the other day. Now using a Clutchnet Evo 6 (6 puck) clutch with stock flywheel and stock pressure plate.
Setup ok but not great....clutch kinda noisy like exedyand not that great for over 300 whp with stock p/plate.

depends on your cashflow and how much power u wanna run....it would be sweet to get one of those twin or triple disc setups. But reality....maybe lightened Evo8 flywheel with ACT street setup...the one to hold 400+ lbs of torque.
I may go for that....the clutchnet can't handle ma launches.
