Twin disc clutch sound under deceleration?

Ever since I had my Cusco twin-disc carbon/carbon clutch installed, I've noticed a weird sound. Under deceleration past second gear, from 4,000rpm to 2,000rpm, I notice a loud grinding sound coming from where the clutch location is. The sound is sometimes EXTREMELY loud, and sometimes it is extremely quiet... but when it is loud, it literally sounds like metal grinding or rattling rapidly. I was told this is normal on twin-disc clutches, anyone else have an opinion?

When I had a Twin Disc installed on my car I would get that noise as well.

I now have a Stage 1 Organic - and I still get the noise.

It is normal - although some cars may be better or worse than others. This topic comes up a bit so instead of subjecting you to a lenghty explination - try a search.

If you would like more information, please feel free to PM me!

I've the same clutch, same noise on decel. if I apply gas or clutch in, the noise goes away. I'm hoping it's not a bad install or clutch going bad....
