What spark plugs??
What spark plugs would people recommend for the 6? I'm suspecting my car could be running too rich in the higher revs and I want more spark power. What are the upsides/downsides of changing to colder/hotter plugs??

Michael,
If you are using the car when the OAT is lower than about 5degC I would use a No7 plug, over this christmas period I have been having problems with misfires and plug fouling when using NGK BR8EVX and HKS S40G Iridium in under 5 deg conditions. Above this temp and things are ok.
Check out this link for some good Plug info;

Very interesting reading... Hmmm, so really I should stick with the standard plugs for the cold part of the year and get some colder ones for the warm one, right?

I know, but I have these weird flatspots which I think are 99% PEs fault but I want to try and maybe fix the problem by using new plugs and leads. Don't cost the world and I might need some new plugs soon anyway...

I doubt it, Graham Goode are pretty expensive, although most HKS stuff is normally a similar price where ever you buy it. I'll ring around a few companies I know and get back to you.
I may have a spare second hand set you can have, they've done about 1000 miles, but I don't know if they are spare at the moment, should know in a couple of weeks.

Looked around a few places on the net today and found the same prices everywhere 14.50 a piece... Hmmm, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't really want a second hand set but thanks a lot anyway. It would be nice if you find a cheaper place.

Michael,
I've checked the price of the HKS plugs with a few companies and they all sell them for the same price, seems HKS have a fixed price structure with most companies. Justin who has his own performance parts company sells HKS stuff and the price is normally pretty good. He posts on the MLR regularly and normally sells the stuff without tax, his number is +447985 524649.
