installed tbe today. no check engine light?

installed tbe today. no check engine light?

should the check engine light be on after tbe installed? i have the cat-delete on my car and drove home (about 10 miles) but the light didn't go on. i dun mean i want the light on but is it normal?

it doesnt come on right away...usually takes a few cycles of the key or miles before you throw a code.

The mechanical fix (anti-foulers) works!

I did mine exactly a week ago and it works flawlessly.

be careful when using the anti-foulers. i did that originally and it put the end of the o2 sensore so close to the chassis of the car that when i would turn hard or hit bumbs it would hit against the body of the car, causing one of the wires to be exposed and eventually shorting the main engine fuse out. i changed to a different mechanical fix with a 90 elbow. good luck.

normally comes on when cruising on the highway...when computer does the routine checks...

Yeah it didnt come on for 3-4 Days for me. On the STI it never came on until the temperature outside was like 80

i mean i dont have the service engine light on but the anti-brake light. it's not because of the test pipe but it comes on sometime.
