you would xylene or toluene and just add it to the gas tank instead of getting an injection kit? If you can, how much is safe to add and how much of an octane boost would it create?

I saw on the SRT-4 web site they were adding one gallon of toluene to every 20 gallons of gas. They seem to see a better throttle response and a little more butt dyno. But it will not have the same effect as an alcohol injection kit.

from what I heard you can run up to 10% toluene, so for 20 gallons you should be able to run 2 gallons of toluene. But what I wondering is instead of toluene or xylene can you just pour denatured alcohol into the tank instead of buying or making an injection kit.
