Threads a little old, but I have a question.... I've read that BPR7EIX iridium plugs are pre-gapped to .27 which is good for an Evo but on the NGK website it states the OE gap is .32. Does this mean the plugs come gapped to .32 or is that just what the OE plug is? The only reason I ask is because I know I can damage the iridium tip by gapping so if I don't have to I rather just leave them alone.. Has anybody checked the gap on their BRP7EIX's out of the box?

yes, they're way too big. i gapped them down to .026. you just have to be careful of the tip, but if you take your time, it can be done with no damage.
