Very nice. How long of a turn around was it for the porting and coating?

This is not a log manifold, it's a ported and ceramic coated stock manifold. I picked up a stocker for $60 that was in good shape.

Turnaround was about 4 weeks with shipping, and they told me about 2-3 weeks once they had it, so it was about as close as you'd expect.

I plan on doing this to mine this weekend hopefully. How long do you think it will stay that shiny grey color before it starts looking bad again ?

it should last years.. I had my manifold jet coated on my civic years ago and it lasted a while.. I never saw it turn color.. you can get oil on it and just about anything and itll hold up..

I already have:
BR 3" TBE (now w/ testpipe installed )
BR Deluxe FMIC kit w/ all I/C piping and Greddy RS BOV
BR Mini battery kit
HKS 280's
SMC Alky kit w/ 100% denatured alcohol

Progress Rear Sway bar
BR solid shifter bushings
Ferodo DS2500 Pads w/TechniFit SS lines
Rota P45F's

Last week I put in a Southbend OFE clutch (see other thread here)

I'm also waiting on a coated SS o2 housing from Buschur to max out the stock turbo setup. That's all I really have planned for now, in the future I'll do ported intake manifold & TB, AEM, and then look at doing an Evo Green. w/ the 280's and alky the car made 310whp on a dyno dynamics dyno, the testpipe, o2 housing, and ported mani should yield good results. The testpipe made a significant difference already, wondering just how much power I can get out of the stock turbo

Here's a pic of the car as it sits:

Pretty plain-jane, but its my DD so I'm just keeping it simple.

What did they charge you to port/coat the manifold? And can you feel a big difference?

Nice setup. Ever get a chance to take it to take the track yet? Your next plans sound pretty close to mine minus the alky and aem. How do you like the SMC kit? I'm in the market for an alky kit, thinking Aquamist, SMC, or Snow.
